The Whittier Narrows Sports Area
Area A- 144 Acres
East of the Rio Hondo River and north from the Pomona Freeway (I-60), tis area contains approximately 144 acres. The northernmost portion of Area A, located north of Rush Street, is currently used as a nursery. The area south of Rush Street is an open field. Existing recreation development includes baseball fields, soccer fields, a park administration building, BMX Facility, and a model airplane/hobby area.
